The paper core is ideally suited to static loading applications that require strength and stiffness. The paper core is not flexible by nature so it will not conform to shapes as well as the synthetic core. A typical application for the paper core would be sandwich panels (doors, structures, floors).
RhinoKore P100 honeycomb core is manufactured in 4 ft. x 8 ft. panels or custom sizes, in thicknesses ranging from 1/4 in. to 12 in. Available with foam injection or without, both styles of core can be finished with additional skinning or facings, making them paintable or fully finished.
The P100 phenolic treated kraft paper resists water absorption and provides significant stiffness, making it optimal for applications requiring a strong, stiff panel.
Need a custom cut or size? Looking for a unique surface material? RhinoKore also provides custom composite panels for your project requirements.
Honeycomb panels are available up to 4’ x 8’. Thicknesses range from ¼” to 12”
Yes, both honeycomb panels can be ordered without foam injection
Most traditional building products from thermoset and thermoplastic composite skins to metal, wood, or even concrete can effectively adhere to the surface of the RhinoKore honeycomb panels
RhinoKore foam injected honeycomb panels are less than half the weight of plywood and are not susceptible to rot.
